Details
Day 1
Depart from your hotel or pick-up location at 7:00 am and head southwest towards Masai Mara, about 320 km away. The scenic route will take you through the Great Rift Valley landscape. A stop over at the RV viewpoint will allow you to marvel at the spectacular expansive valley below. The drive takes about 4-5 hours. You will arrive at Mara in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive to sunset.
Day 2
After an early breakfast, set off for a full day game drive, with a picnic lunch served under the shade in the open savannah.
Masai Mara is the home of the Big Five (Leopard, Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Elephant). Look out for any one of these. They are usually easy to spot all over the park. The more elusive one is the Leopard because it hunts at night. But no worries. Your experienced tour guide has real time knowledge of where they could be napping for easier spotting. You return to the lodge late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
After breakfast, return journey to Nairobi commences
